Research Scientist

FUTURESEARCH is looking for exceptional Research Scientists to figure out the best way to reason about hard, judgment-laden questions that other AIs can’t handle. You are an experienced researcher in math, physics, CS, or an equivalently quantitative field. You can quickly grasp developments in modern AI systems and infer how to maximally leverage them to understand the world. You can start with an open problem, like determining how likely it is that a given type of information produced by an LLM is true. You can design a research paradigm to answer this as well as possible, while reckoning with rapid advances in the field. And you can translate your research into the maximally-trustworthy and accurate information that can be produced by AI-based software on questions of the utmost importance.
